Hell Froze Over: Neutral Milk Hotel Announces Reunion Tour


News has just been released that Neutral Milk Hotel, who broke up in 1999, will be reuniting to tour together again.

The news comes as a shock to many as the band has denied any chance of this happening, and there’s never been much speculation they would change their minds. However, now out of nowhere, the band will reunite to the otherworldly delight of their strong cult-following.

In 1998 Neutral Milk Hotel released what became widely known as a modern classic, In the Aeroplane Over the Sea. To this day, the lead singer Jeff Mangum has continued to tour and play the material off and on again. The album is wrapped in metaphors and imagery, making it very abstract to both the delight and dismay of many listeners. Despite how you feel about the album, many modern music followers can’t deny that they’ve heard the album due to it’s massive influence. Hear the band’s most famous anthem below.
